Safer streets for women and girls
Overview
Violence Against Women and Girls is defined as crime that disproportionately affects women and girls including, but not limited to, domestic abuse, sexual violence, exploitation and harassment, stalking, verbal abuse and violence and forced prostitution. These crimes should not be happening and we want to work with you to understand which areas of Arlen Hill can be improved to make our women and girls feel safer when walking through the streets. From 13 Apr 2022 at 09:00 to 13 Apr 2022 at 12:00This session will give you the opportunity to come and discuss issues with safety that you have experienced in Arlen Hill, and offer suggestions on how we can make the area safer.

Personal Safety Session
From 28 Apr 2022 at 18:00 to 28 Apr 2022 at 20:00This is a taster session for women and girls to teach you the first steps of self defence. The session will be held at St. Michaels Church every Tuesday in April to give as many girls the opportunity to learn these skills.
