Outcomes from stage 1 community feedback
The outcomes of stage 1 community engagement are outlined below, though it should be noted that not all comments will be able to be resolved so this will need to be discussed further with ACT Government directorates. Consequently, not all feedback received through both Stage 1 and Stage 2 community feedback will be included in our master plan.
Key outcomes from stage 1:
- Improvement to current green spaces within the area and the addition of new trees and plants
- Create a more accessible space for bikes and pedestrians throughout the study area
- Improve bike storage facilities to promote cycling in the area
- Higher qaulity homes in the centre of the study area
- Limit building heights to 4 storeys
- Improved public transport access across the area with additional bus stops
