A bushfire management plan is set out by local governments in Australia to ensure that their land is adequately prepared for the eventuality of bushfires, and every step has been taken to decrease the chances of bushfires occurring. This plan has to take account of a changing climate and the effects this will have on bushfire activity within Arlen Hill. We are asking you to detail the steps that you are currently taking to reduce the risk of bushfires so we can understand where we currently stand with management, and we are asking your views on current proposals we have in place within our bushfire management plan.

    This seminar will outline the causes of bushfires in Western Australia and gives advice to citizens on what they can do to prevent it or how they can stay safe when bushfires do occur.

    This will give you the opportunity to comment on current proposals outlined within our draft plan, and let us know what you are currently doing to protect yourself against bushfires.
